Contract extension

Bilfinger Industrier Norge has extended an agreement with BP for the maintenance of oil and gas production facilities in the North Sea.

The renewed agreement is valued at €50m and will run from 1 May 2014 to 30 April 2016.

Under the terms of the agreement, Bilfinger’s scope of work will cover painting, scaffolding, insulation and access technology services at BP’s Valhall, Ula and Skarv fields.

The agreement follows on from two recent contract renewals, which Bilfinger was awarded by Statoil.

Recently Bilfinger won a new €40m contract with Statoil to provide services at the company’s offshore platforms in the Sleipner gas field.
