BlueJack Energy Solutions has announced that it has received an equity commitment note of up to $100m from Energy Spectrum Capital, through the latter’s Energy Spectrum Partners VII fund.
The two parties will collaborate in providing waste stream management solutions, saltwater transmission and disposal, solids processing and disposal and wastewater recycling services to oil and gas operators in the Permian Basin and the Marcellus and Utica shale plays.

Gibson Energy has reached an agreement with a group of underwriters jointly led by BMO Capital Markets and RBC Capital Markets.
The terms state that the underwriters have agreed to purchase 12,950,000 common shares on a bought deal basis, at a price of $15.45 each, to raise $200m.
The company will also issue the underwriters an aggregate principal amount of $100m worth of unsecured subordinated convertible debentures due 15 July 2021 and priced at $1,000 each, to raise approximately $300m.
