Cooper Energy Limited intends to issue up to 219,596,482 shares each priced at $0.22 through a non-renounceable rights offering to raise approximately $48m.

The company has retained Euroz Securities Limited and Canaccord Genuity (Australia) Limited as underwriters for the offering.

Proceeds are intended to be used by Cooper Energy to partially finance the acquisition of Victorian gas assets from Santos Ltd.

Helix Energy Solutions Group Inc has announced pricing of the public offering of 4.25% convertible senior notes in order to raise $125m. Priced at 100% of principal amount, the notes will mature in 2022.

Raymond James and Associates Inc is the underwriter for the issue, which is scheduled for completion around 1 November.

The amount raised from the offering is intended to be used by Helix Energy to partly repurchase and retire 3.25% convertible senior notes due 2032.
