IKM Testing has secured a frame contract to provide pipeline and process services for Eni Norge’s Goliat field in the Barents Sea.
The contract, which will initially run for three years, includes an option to extend for two years in two periods.
IKM Testing will carry out the work in two main phases – the operational readiness phase and the operational phase. During these two phases, the firm will deliver pipeline and process services.
The operational readiness phase, which will start immediately, includes engineering and commissioning of subsea pipelines and the potential completion of process systems.
In the operational phase IKM will provide routine pipeline pigging and pipeline inspection pigging, in addition to topside process support and maintenance services.
IKM Testing will undertake most of the engineering and preparation work at its head office in Sola and will execute several operations and services from the Hammerfest branch office.
