Eni Indonesia has won two new production sharing contracts (PSCs) in Indonesia.
The firm secured a 100% interest in the Arguni I PSC block, which is situated both onshore and offshore the Bintuni Basin, in the West Papua Province.
Eni will drill two wells on the acreage within the first three years of exploration, with the acquisition of 2D and 3D seismic surveys.
The second PSC was awarded to Eni in a consortium with GDF Suez, Statoil Indonesia, Niko Resources and North Ganal Energy for the North Ganal block, which is located in the Kutei Basin.
Eni will be the operator of the block and will drill one well in the first three years of exploration, with a 2D seismic acquisition.
