Peregrine Midstream Partners subsidiary Ryckman Creek Resources has awarded a project management contract to Foster Wheeler for the Ryckman Creek natural gas capacity storage project in Wyoming, US.

The new 35 billion-cubic-foot Ryckman Creek gas storage facility will serve the natural gas markets at Opal Hub.

The work will be carried out through Foster Wheeler Upstream and will continue through to the third quarter of 2012.

The contract’s value was not disclosed.

Foster Wheeler Upstream CEO Clive Vaughan said that the project will expand on the firm’s robust gas storage experience, which includes recent projects in Matagorda County, Texas, Evangeline Parish, Louisiana and in Europe.
