Rosebank

Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) has selected Bluewater Energy Services for the engineering, procurement, construction and integration (EPCI) of a turret and mooring system for the Rosebank project.

The Rosebank floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel will be located about 175km northwest of the Shetland Islands, at a water depth of about 1,100m.

The turret and mooring system will be 80m high and will have a process manifold/turntable of about 34m in diameter.

According to Bluewater, the system will permanently anchor the FPSO at its offshore location and allow it to weathervane.

Under the terms of the contract, Bluewater will supply the turret and mooring system for integration at the construction yard of HHI in Ulsan, South Korea.

The Rosebank FPSO will be fabricated at the yard.
