Global enterprise applications company IFS and Alliant RigServ have signed an agreement for the deployment of the former’s solutions in North American offshore oil and gas industry.
As a referral and services partner, Alliant RigServ will become a member of the IFS Partner Network.
Expanding its services, the company will implement IFS’s software solutions including enterprise resource planning (ERP), enterprise asset management (EAM) and enterprise service management (ESM).
The partnership is expected to back IFS’s strategy to build an ecosystem that provides the companies with better market penetration through improved technology and knowledge resources for IFS solutions.
Alliant RigServ director Christopher Collins said: "We are delighted to be on-board with IFS.
"IFS’s enterprise solutions are well-known and highly regarded throughout the oil and gas industry and we are excited about the enormous value this partnership will bring to our business."

RigServ offers solutions to Maersk Drilling, KS Drilling, SapuraKencana Drilling, Marathon Oil, Ensco, Seadrill, Xtreme Drilling, Vantage Drilling and Ocean Rig.
At present, the company’s projects include supply chain consulting, technology and systems consulting, supply chain outsourcing, enterprise business intelligence reporting, among others.
