Keppel Offshore & Marine (Keppel O&M) has completed the acquisition of US-based Cameron International’s marine product division.

The division consists of the Letourneau jackup rig designs, rig kit business, as well as its after sales and aftermarket services.

The acquired company will operate under the name Keppel LeTourneau and will have offices in the US, United Arab Emirates and Singapore.

Keppel said that the acquisition will enable the company to expand its suite of jackup rig designs.

The acquisition will add the Letourneau designs to Keppel’s own offerings and provide the company with more than 26 designs for jackup rigs that cover any requirement in the market.

The Letourneau suite of jackup rig designs is suitable for any environment and includes the Letourneau Super 116E, Workhorse, Super Gorilla XL and Jaguar.
