Europa Oil & Gas (Holdings) plc has spent $1.29m to acquire Shale Petroleum (UK) Limited from Shale Petroleum Ltd. (SPL).
Shale Petroleum (UK) holds stakes in PEDL299 and PEDL343 exploration licenses. Europa now owns a 33.32% interest in PEDL299 and 45% stake in PEDL343 license.
PEDL299 and PEDL343 licenses are operated by Ineos Group Limited and Third Energy respectively.
Xylem Inc has agreed to acquire Sensus USA Inc from The Jordan Company LP and GS Capital Partners 2000, LP.
The deal implies a cash consideration of approximately $1.7bn, which will be funded by Xylem using its non-US cash, new and existing credit facilities, and a combination of short-term and long-term debt.
Sensus provides smart meters, network technologies and advanced data analytics services for the water, energy and gas industries.
