Engineering company Monadelphous Group has secured a long-term maintenance services contract with Inpex Operations Australia for the offshore Ichthys LNG Project.
Located around 220km offshore Western Australia, the project is currently in its construction stage and involves some offshore facilities, an onshore processing facility, and an 890km pipeline.
The contract carries an initial term of six years with the option of two additional two-year extensions.
Monadelphous managing director Rob Velletri said: “We are delighted to be awarded such a significant maintenance contract by Inpex Operations Australia for the world-class Ichthys LNG Project.

Under the contract, Monadelphous will provide operational, campaign and shutdown maintenance services.
The company will also be responsible for brownfield projects implementation for Ichthys central processing facility ‘Ichthys Explorer’ and floating production storage and offloading facility ‘Ichthys Venturer’.
