Transportation and midstream services provider Pembina Pipeline is going ahead with a $210m expansion to its pipeline infrastructure in northeast British Columbia (B.C.), Canada.
The company has signed binding agreements with customers for the NEBC Expansion project, which will transport condensate and natural gas liquids for several producers in the Montney resource play.
The project includes the construction of about 160km pipeline with a base capacity of up to 75,000 barrels per day.
The line will parallel Pembina’s Blueberry pipeline system northwest of Taylor, B.C. to the Highway/Blair Creek area of B.C.
Pembina expects to bring the NEBC Expansion on-stream in the second quarter to fourth quarter of 2017.
Pembina vice president of conventional pipelines Jason Wiun said: "Pembina has been actively engaging with producers regarding the development of the Montney play.
