The global midstream capital raising activity totalled at $36.6bn from 65 transactions during the second quarter of this year, according to a report by GlobalData.
Titled ‘Quarterly Midstream Capital Raising Review – Q2 2017’, the report provides an overview of the midstream capital raising activity during the quarter.
The number of deals greater than $500m was 26 and totalled $28.4bn in value. Comparatively, the number of deals in the first quarter was 35 and worth $35.1bn in total.
In terms of regions, the Americas led the global capital raising market in terms of both volume and value with 42 deals totalling $24.1bn in value.
The top deal registered during the quarter was YPF’s public offering of bonds, worth $2.8bn.
