Rosneft has awarded a $60m contract to Chinese oil fields and deposits equipment supplier Kerui Group for a fracturing project in Nyagan, Russia.
Under the terms of the three-year contract, Kerui Group will increase output from the hydraulic fracturing in Nyagan and construct Model 2000 fracturing trucks.
It is reported that as of 16 June, the group had completed the delivery of the first lot of fracturing equipment to Nizhnevartovsk, Russia.
It has also completed construction of a fracturing facility containing 41 floors spread across 19 wells, with the inspection pass rate on the installation and development of the equipment at each well surpassing 99%.
Kerui Group’s fracturing equipment is capable of providing a pressure of 70MPa. Other features include a displacement of 5m³/min and a construction area of more than 1,500m².
The company claimed that its equipment can increase oil output, as well as the technological needs when developing the facilities needed for large-scale projects.
