Oil and gas company Roxi Petroleum has obtained final regulatory approval to start pilot production at its South Yelemes field in Kazakhstan.
The company’s operating unit BNG received the approval from Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Oil & Gas to start gas flaring between 2012 and 2014.
Roxi Petroleum will put wells 54 and 805 into pilot production during the second quarter of 2012.
Well 806 will then be tested and evaluated by BNG as part of the company’s ongoing development of the South Yelemes field.
