Malaysian oilfield solutions provider SapuraKencana Petroleum has received five contracts worth a combined $300m for engineering, construction and installation services.
The first two-year contract was awarded to the company’s subsidiary SapuraKencana Subsea Services to provide underwater services for Petronas Carigali.
Under this contract, SapuraKencana Petroleum unit will provide all underwater services together with vessels, air and saturation diving, remotely operated vehicle and other related underwater services.
It also includes analysis, maintenance and repair services for Petronas Carigali's subsea facilities located offshore Peninsular Malaysia.
The second one-year contract was secured by SapuraKencana GeoSciences to provide soil investigation services in the Peninsular Malaysia and Sarawak/Sabah operation areas.
SapuraKencana TL Offshore received the third contract that requires providing offshore installation work of BNCPP-B jacket, foundation piles and bridge structure between BNCPP-B to BNG-B for Hyundai Heavy Industries.

Under the fourth contract, Repsol Oil & Gas Malaysia hired SapuraKencana TL Offshore for 12 months to provide transportation and installation of pipeline services with the topside for Bunga Pakma development project.
The fifth contract was awarded by Brunei Shell Petroleum to SapuraKencana Drilling for the provision of its tender assist drilling rig, SKD Alliance.
Scheduled to start in April next year, this contract has a fixed five-year period and includes an option to extend it for a further five years.
