As part of the alliance, Subsea 7 will offer its experience and technology in seabed-to-surface engineering with OneSubsea’s reservoir expertise and subsea production, as well as processing systems technologies.

"This combination provides clients with the opportunity to significantly improve subsea field economics over the lifetime of the development."

Both companies’ resources will be combined to collaborate on selected projects, to improve field development planning from the reservoir to the production facility.

The alliance will coordinate with clients to design, develop and deliver integrated SPS and SURF solutions.

According to Subsea 7, the solutions are expected to improve project delivery, recovery, and optimise the cost and efficiency of deepwater developments for the field’s operational life.
