US-based Tall Oak Midstream has started commercial utilisation of the GasStream software from Energy Solutions International (ESI).
Serving several producers throughout Oklahoma, US, Tall Oak will use the software for its natural gas gathering and processing assets.
The software is a transaction and volumetric accounting system for midstream natural gas gathering and processing.
It tracks and manages contracts, nominations and deliveries, as well as ownership of the raw wet gas from the natural gas wellhead via the processing plant, along with the dry gas and associated products produced there.
Tall Oak Midstream chief financial officer Max Myers said: "Tall Oak Midstream is using GasStream software to manage all of our volumetric and transaction accounting.
"Because we’re growing at a rapid pace, we need a system that can do more than support our current needs. We need a flexible system that has the capacity to grow with us."
