Global helicopter leasing company Waypoint Leasing (Ireland) has agreed to deliver one AW139 helicopter to Hevilift Group to support the company's offshore oil and gas operations in the Asia-Pacific region.
Waypoint was initially established in 2013 and specialises in providing aircraft and support services for oil and gas, utility, firefighting and other industrial-focused helicopter operations.
Waypoint Sales and Relationship Management vice-president Philip Stransky said: “We’ve been working with Hevilift for four years now and are pleased to complete another transaction with a trusted operator.
“We look forward to continuing our partnership as they continue to grow their business through a diverse range of operations.”
Hevilift is a fixed and rotary wing aviation services provider that delivers solutions for the transportation of personnel and equipment across a variety of fields.
The company provides resource sector support for onshore and offshore fields, and geophysical surveys, as well as emergency medical services.

Waypoint is headquartered in Ireland and its portfolio currently includes approximately 145 aircraft based in 30 countries, with total assets valuing more than $1.6bn.
The company also has firm and option orders with aircraft manufacturers for more than 95 helicopters with a combined value of nearly $1.2bn, which are expected to be delivered over the next five years.
