Wood Group has won a new contract to support China National Offshore Oil’s (CNOOC) Lingshui 17-2 gas development in the Qiongdongnan basin of the South China Sea.
Under the contract, Wood Group will provide subsea and flow assurance services with support from its Australian and UK offices.

An independent review involving the project’s subsea production system design and a special study, as well as the design of the gas export pipeline will also be delivered.

By GlobalDataRecently, the company secured a five-year contract with INPEX Operations Australia to provide subsea engineering services for the Ichthys LNG Project situated offshore Western Australia.
The contract became effective immediately and includes two one-year extension options, as well as covering all subsea assets and the gas export pipeline.
Earlier, Wood Group has supported the Ichthys LNG Project development by providing subsea engineering and project management services during the concept, front-end and engineering phases of the project.
