Xodus Group has secured a contract to provide engineering studies and verification services for Lundin Norway’s developments on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.

The four-year agreement has an option to be extended for another two years.

Under the contract, Xodus will provide services such as concept screening and feasibility studies.

Other services include concept selection and pre-engineering, subsea and facilities including modifications, debottlenecking and process optimisation studies.

"Xodus will provide services such as concept screening and feasibility studies."

The company will also collaborate with Kvaerner, EMAS Chiyoda Subsea and Kanfa as partners and subcontractors to give Lundin access to concept owner expertise.

Xodus Group operations director Steve Swindell said: "We are delighted to be working with Lundin to achieve their development objectives.

"Along with the other support providers who are leaders in their fields, Xodus can bring added value to Lundin through independent thinking and access to leading technology and concept providers.

"Our specialists in studies and verification services are focused on delivering high-quality on all projects and this agreement gives us the ability to offer even more insight by working closely with Lundin over the next four years."

Xodus will also address challenges related to Lundin’s discoveries in arctic and sub-arctic areas of northern Norway.

Xodus previously secured two call-off orders based on the agreement, including a feasibility study for Lundin’s development in the Barents Sea.
