Global upstream capital raising activity stood at $4.9bn from 47 transactions in October 2017, according to a report by GlobalData.

Titled ‘Monthly Upstream Capital Raising Review – October 2017’, the report gives a brief picture of the global upstream capital raising activity during October 2017.

The global capital raising market was led by the Americas in terms of both volume and value at 49% and 65% respectively, which was derived from 23 deals with a combined value of $3.2bn.
