Remote sensing and data analytics provider SolSpec has launched SolSpec ROW Integrity Management solution for oil and gas pipeline owners and operators.

SolSpec ROW Integrity is an advanced aerial imagery and data analytics solution and can be used by the operators to predict, quantify and prioritise risk mitigation.

It has been designed to evaluate mitigate and avoid geohazard risks on pipeline right-of-ways.

Pipeline owners and operators can use SolSpec’s drone flight plans, data collection and advanced analytics to detect and predict hazards before they become problems.

They gain actionable insights to prioritise mitigation efforts and improve safety and compliance while achieving greater ROI at every stage of the pipeline asset lifecycle.

SolSpec ROW Integrity Management solution is capable of analysing known and potential threats and delivers decision support analysis tailored to pipeline integrity management.

The company’s team of data scientists and FAA-licensed UAV pilots initially collect photogrammetry and LiDAR data within the right-of-way to create a baseline risk assessment with plug-and-play flight plans to monitor high-risk areas.

Later on, they will process the data through SolSpec’s secure cloud-based geoprocessing platform and analytical models based on analysis of more than 1.7 million acres of landslides and ROW projects.

Based on this, high-resolution 3D models will be created for visualising and measuring slip conditions, hydrology and BMP condition assessments and slip potential.

Besides interactive web maps and 3D models, users gain access to comprehensive, decision-ready reports.
