Entitled Monthly Upstream Capital Raising Review – December 2016, the report states that Americas was the leading region in global capital raising activity.

Americas witnessed the highest capital raising activity in volume and value with 83% and 92% shares respectively, from 39 deals worth $12.6bn.
The biggest deal registered in the region in December 2016 was Pemex’s private placement of bonds worth $2.5bn.
Of the total of 47 transactions that took place globally in December 2016, 24 deals were greater than $100m and totalled $13.4bn in value.
Comparatively, 13 deals worth $5.2bn were recorded in November 2016.
