The Americas took 73% of the market share for equipment and 57% for services.
The global equipment and services capital raising activity was estimated at $4.4bn from 33 transactions, with ten deals worth more than $100m and totalled $3.4bn in value compared to 12 deals worth $4.3bn in the second quarter of 2016.
The top deal registered during the quarter was Transocean’s private placement of senior unsecured notes for gross proceeds of $1.25bn.
