From the total 52 global transactions, 18 deals were valued more than $100m each and totalled $10.4bn.
April registered 20 deals worth more than $100m each, totalling $16.1bn in value.
Region-wise, the Americas led in terms of both volume and value, at 75% and 93% respectively. A total of 39 deals with a combined value of $10bn were registered in the region.
The top deal registered during the month was Canadian Natural Resources’ bid to raise $4.3bn through a public offering of unsecured senior and medium-term notes.
