Aurelian Oil & Gas has begun stabilised flow rate testing on the Trzek-2 well on the Siekierki project in Poland, after a two-week delay.

The delay was thought to have been caused by a mechanical problem after clean-up debris became lodged in sleeve ports.

According to the company, gas is flowing freely through ports on three sleeves, and partially through another, while there is no flow through the ports on the remaining six sleeves.

The firm has also begun drilling at Trzek-3 on the Siekierki project and expects stabilised flow test results by the end of June 2011 or early July 2011.

Aurelian CEO Rowen Bainbridge said the Trzek-3 well is performing better than expected and the firm will have stabilised flow rates from both wells by the end of June or beginning of July to help them optimise the development.
