BP Oil UK has appointed AMEC to carry out the engineering, procurement and construction management of capital investment projects for existing facilities at its UK oil storage terminals in 2011.
The contract covers all of BP Oil’s storage terminals in mainland UK and Northern Ireland.
AMEC will provide engineering and project management expertise, feasibility studies and front-end engineering design at the Belfast, Hamble, Hemel Hempstead, Isle of Grain, Kingsbury, Northampton and Walton-on-Thames terminals.
Work will also include detailed design and installation work on process plant and equipment at these terminals.
