Next Generation Energy has acquired a royalty interest in a natural gas well in Louisiana, US, for an undisclosed sum.
The prolific natural gas well, known as the Hainesville Shale formation, produces more than 230,000Mcf per month.
Chesapeake Energy unit Chesapeake Operating operates the well.
Next Generation Energy will obtain revenues from this well and any new wells planned in the unit, which includes approximately 600 acres.
