Lukoil’s Bulgarian refinery Neftochim Burgas will reopen after completing its planned maintenance.

The 142,000bpd refinery at the Black Sea port of Burgas had been shut down for a month-long repair, according to Reuters.

Neftochim Burgas is expected to gradually restart its units, however, it is uncertain whether the refinery will reopen all the three crude distillation units and become fully operational.

The refinery supplies about 80% of Bulgaria’s motor fuels needs and about a third of its output is exported.
