Beach Energy and trading company Itochu Corporation have entered a non-binding memorandum of understanding (MoU) to jointly explore a potential integrated LNG project.
Under the MOU, the firms will investigate and discuss the potential of supplying gas from Beach’s onshore Australian portfolio to the project.
“Beach has built a strong relationship with Itochu over a number of years and we are looking forward to working together to research the potential for us to jointly invest in an integrated LNG project opportunity,” said Beach managing director Reg Nelson.
