Global Engineering and Construction Group Forster Wheeler will provide project management consultancy services for the development of the Bida Al Qemzan oilfield in the UAE.
Under the PMC contract, Foster Wheeler will provide the services to Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Oil Operations (ADCO).
The firm will manage the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) phase of the Bida Al Qemzan development and will assist ADCO in selecting and awarding the EPC and construction contracts.
The project aims to achieve a production capacity of 20,000 barrels per day by the end of the third quarter of 2012.
