ABLE Instruments & Controls is pleased to announce that Canty has received ATEX and IECEx certification for its latest range of fibre optic and process lighting solutions.
These units provide a higher light output than their previous halogen models, as well as offering advantages in energy consumption (20W compared with 50W / 80W on previous models), and maintenance (LED-rated for more than five years).
There is also a 24V DC version available as standard.
Existing installations using the traditional halogen source can be easily upgraded to a higher light output, maintenance-free LED system.
The upgrade option makes use of existing fibre-optic bundles and light pipes, lowering the overall cost.
An upgrade program will be available to any customer who has purchased a light system, or camera / light combination system.
