EcoForm - Formate Brines - High Performance Drilling and Completion Fluids

EcoForm, a business unit of Norbar Minerals AS, is the leading supplier of potassium and sodium formates to the petroleum industry.

Formate brines were specifically designed and developed for use in challenging well operations. The EcoForm product range consists of high purity sodium and potassium formate liquid and powder / granules. Together with Cesium formate, these monovalent, solids-free brines have a seamless density up to 2.3SG (19.2ppg).

Formate brines retain their liquid state to -50°C (-58°F) and their full range of beneficial properties at working temperatures up to 200°C (400°F).

Potassium formate is supplied as a patented, non-caking powder in 25kg sacks and 500kg big bags, or as 75% brine in bulk or packed in 1,000L IBCs or ISO tanks. The novel sodium formate free-flowing granules are supplied in 25kg sacks or big bags.
