The production of Carltsoe spark-resistant tools is based on a Be-Cu alloy or a Carltsoe-Bronze alloy, which does not contain beryllium. The Carltsoe-Bronze alloy, developed by Carltsoe in 1985, is cheaper and friendlier to the environment in production compared to Be-Cu alloys.
