ADS Services, a provider of pressure management solutions for the drilling industry, has teamed up with GEOLOG International to augment drilling practices by harnessing the power of AI.  

GEOLOG is engaged in integrating AI into formation evaluation and drilling performance.  

The partnership will leverage AI for real-time monitoring, automated detection, and corrective actions to improve safety and operational efficiency. 

The joint offering, named Drilling ESP (Evaluation, Safety and Performance), will combine ADS’ Power Chokes technology with GEOLOG’s hardware and software.  

This integration is expected to enhance safety standards and operational efficiency across the drilling industry.  

The key features of Drilling ESP include AI-driven safety protocols, performance optimisation, automated corrective actions and data-driven decision-making. 

AI algorithms will be deployed to analyse geological and drilling parameters, as well as pressure data, the companies said. 

It is expected to enable adaptive adjustments to drilling procedures, ensuring optimal performance and minimising downtime. 

The collaboration also introduces systems that detect anomalies and implement corrective actions automatically. 

Finally, AI-powered data evaluation will provide operators with actionable insights, supporting informed decision-making and a comprehensive understanding of the operational landscape.
