Maersk Group’s Maersk Supply Service has received a $300m contract from Petrobras to provide four anchor handling tug supply vessels.
The $300m contract, which includes mobilisation fees, has a duration of four years and includes options to extend the agreement for another four years.

Under the terms of the contract, Maersk will provide four T-types, Maersk Trimmer, Maersk Traveller, Maersk Terrier and Maersk Handler, which will be joining the other 12 vessels currently employed with Petrobras.
The contracts are expected to commence in July 2014 and these vessels are set to support Petrobras’ offshore Brazil operations.
Maersk Supply Service CEO Carsten Plougmann Andersen said: "We are very pleased to have reached an agreement with Petrobras for this specific task.
