AGR Norway and Russia executive vice president Sjur Talstad said that the company will perform the activity from its Stavanger office, which has a track record of delivering well management and operational HSE support.

"This contract win follows a busy 2013 for us when at peak we delivered five operations in parallel, managing jack-up, semi-submersible and drill-ship rigs during the year," Talstad added.

Recently, AGR completed drilling of over 500 well projects in 25 countries for 106 clients, representing an average of one drilling project commenced every ten days since the year 2000. The company has managed over 80 drilling projects on 14 rigs, on behalf of 21 operators on the NCS. In 2013, AGR’s Norway team was involved in 15% of exploration wells drilled on the NCS.
