3-D model of new modular temporary living quarter

Asian Offshore Services (AOS) have been offered an exclusive project from Jack-Up Barge to build a large fleet of 100 modular living quarters cabins, for additional temporary living quarters on their fleet of vessels.

The project includes the supply of 70 4/8-man sleeper cabins and 30 general purpose support cabins, ABS approved and designed to fulfill Zone 2 Hazardous Area requirements.

All modules will be linkable and stackable, and will provide the option of an additional 560 beds in any configuration required.

These new purpose built cabins means Jack-Up Barge will become a market-leader in providing their fleet of vessels with new high-spec and high quality modular temporary living quarters. It also helps the company to phase out older-style and lower specification rental cabins.

Managing director Faisal Siebel said: "AOS were very pleased to win this exclusive contract to build 100 cabin modules from Jack-Up Barge. This continues to prove that our company will continue its rapid growth plans and continue to be a market leader in designing and building bespoke living quarters, general purpose and e-house modules."
