The SafEye Quasar 900 Open Path Gas Detector is a high-performance, high-reliability gas detector, providing continuous monitoring for combustible hydrocarbon gases such as methane, propane, ethylene and butane.

Encased in a rugged, stainless-steel, ATEX and IECEx approved housing, the Quasar 900 is able to detect at distances of up to 660ft (200m) in the harshest of environments. The transmitter uses the Spectrex-patented Xenon Flash to minimise false alarms which, together with the receiver, provides high-quality, reliable flame detection. A wide range of accessories are available to suit every application.

The SafEye Quasar 900 holds a variety of hazardous Ex, performance, functional and reliability approvals, including ATEX, IECEx, FM, SIL2 and more.
