277th Anniversary of J.D. Neuhaus

Our company celebrates its 277th anniversary today. Thus, the company was first recorded in the trade books on 9th September 1745. While at that time we were a small local family-run blacksmith, we are now the world’s leading manufacturer of pneumatically and hydraulically driven chain hoists.

Along the way, 8 generations of the Neuhaus family have been part of the journey together with passionate JDN employees. To this day, partners and customers from all over the world have accompanied us and the J.D. Neuhaus brand above all with quality, reliability and sustainability. We work hard on these qualities every day, but we would be lying if there was not a bit of luck involved in the last 277 years.
