Ropeblock Introduces 3,200t Crane Block

Ropeblock, a leading supplier for the lifting and wire-rope industry, has recently presented the world largest craneblock for a land based crane.

The craneblock has a lifting capacity of 3,200mt and weighs more than 108,000kg. After an extensive engineering phase, the modular based block was assembled outside of Ropeblock’s plant in Oldenzaal, the Netherlands.
