Ropeblock Introduces Super Reeve Connector Socket

Ropeblock has released a white paper on the Offshore-Technology website.

After extensive research and development, Ropeblock is excited to introduce a new socket line, designed and engineered in close consultation with crane and wire rope manufacturers.

The new, patent-pending super reeve connector socket (SCS) with compatible housing, consists of an ultra-slim connector allowing it to reeve through the tight spaces in a crane, typically only possible for a swaged button. To be able to connect Ropeblock’s new poured ‘spelter’ version in the field, reduces valuable down time.
