Recovery winches, planetary hoists and worm gear and planetary drives

The BRADEN Winch product line includes recovery winches, planetary hoists and a variety of worm gear and planetary drives. Typical applications for BRADEN recovery winches include trailers, oil field haul trucks and wreckers. BRADEN planetary hoist products like the PD Series and CH Series are utilized by most North American crane manufactures, including Terex, Grove and Link-Belt. Additionally, BRADEN planetary hoists are the dominant winch used on offshore platform cranes.

Tulsa Winch produces planetary and worm gear winches and swing drives for large oilfield trucks, heavy haul tractor packages, digger derricks, cranes and aerial work platforms. With line pulls from 5,000lbs to 130,000lbs, all Tulsa planetary winches offer large drum to cable diameter ratios, integral spring applied, hydraulically released brakes and multiple motor options to meet the exact needs of the application.

DP Winch is the defense industry’s number one supplier and logistical supporter of hydraulic winches for use on army, navy and marine vehicles. For 30 years, DP Winch has fielded more than 40,000 winches on government vehicles used in field operations around the world. DP industrial winches and hoists are ideal for service truck cranes and other utility applications where high line speeds and duty cycles are required.

Gear Products manufactures custom-engineered planetary and worm gear winches, swing drives, slewing ring bearings, hydraulic pump drives and rotators for trucks, cranes and heavy equipment serving the utility, construction, forestry, marine and mining markets.

Planetary winches

Pullmaster produces planetary winches for commercial fishing boats, caisson drilling equipment, pipe layers, tractor/skidders and dredges. With twelve basic models providing line pull capacities from 1,100lbs to 80,000lbs, the PL and M series products are ideal for a wide range of applications or special operations.

WARN Industries designs, manufactures and markets a full line of off-road equipment and accessories that enhance the performance of four-wheel-drive vehicles, ATVs and utility vehicles. The company’s Industrial Division markets electric and hydraulic winches and hoists to commercial, industrial and severe duty customers.
