China-based company Far East Smart Energy’s IT hiring declined 21.5% in July 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics.
The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 15.95% in July 2021 when compared with June 2021.
IT jobs claimed a 25.31% share in the company’s total hiring activity in July 2021, and recorded a 1.5% down over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Far East Smart Energy IT hiring in July 2021
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Far East Smart Energy, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 60.53% in July 2021, and a 66.67% drop over June 2021, while Computer and Information Research Scientists claimed a share of 23.68% in July 2021, and registered a 60.87% decline. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 10.53% in July 2021, a 42.86% drop from June 2021.
Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at Far East Smart Energy
Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global oil & gas IT hiring activity in July 2021 with an 89.47% share, which marked a 60% drop over the previous month.
North America stood next with 7.89%, registering an 86.36% month-on-month decline. Europe was the third leading region with a 2.63% share and a flat growth over June 2021.
India commanded a leading presence in the region’s oil & gas industry IT hiring activity with a 73.68% share in July 2021, a 55.56% decline over June 2021. Pakistan featured next with a 10.53% share, down 71.43% over the previous month.United States recorded a 7.89% share, decline of 85.71% compared with June 2021.
Junior Level jobs lead Far East Smart Energy IT hiring activity in July 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 65.79%, down by 45.65% from June 2021. Mid Level positions with a 28.95% share, a decline of 74.42% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 5.26% share, down 88.24% over June 2021.
