
Hungary oil & gas industry registered an 11.9% rise in IT hiring activity in July 2021 compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics index.
The industry’s overall hiring increased by 3.77% in July 2021 compared with June 2021.
Out of the oil & gas industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 12.95% share in July 2021, recording an increase of 0.9% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Hungary oil & gas industry’s IT recruitment activity in July 2021
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Hungary oil & gas industry in July 2021.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 42% in July 2021, a 61.54% growth over the previous month.
2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 24% share, decline of 40% over the previous month.
3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 18%, registering a 30.77% decline from June 2021.
4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 8%, up 100% over the previous month.
Top five oil & gas companies in Hungary IT recruitment activity in July 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average flat growth share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Hungary oil & gas industry during July 2021 over June 2021.
Exxon Mobil posted 37 IT jobs in July 2021 and registered a drop of 9.76% over the previous month, followed by BP with 9 jobs and a 200% growth. MOL Hungarian Oil and Gas with 3 IT jobs and Keppel with 1 jobs, recorded a 50% growth and a flat growth, respectively.
Junior Level job postings dominate in July 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 76%, down by 5% from June 2021. Mid Level positions with an 18% share, a decline of 18.18% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 6% share, up 200% over June 2021.
