Architecture and Engineering Occupations drive oil and gas industry hiring activity

Of the industry's total hiring activity, the highest number of new job postings were for Architecture and Engineering Occupations, which accounted for 10% of the total new job postings in Q4 2023 and were up by 29% year-on-year. Second highest were Office and Administrative Support Occupations, which accounted for 6% and drop by 9% year-on-year, and third highest were Business and Financial Operations Occupations, which were 38% of the new job postings and 23% lower year-on-year.

Top five companies in oil and gas industry accounted for 43% of hiring activity

The highest number of jobs were posted by Yara International with 146, followed by Mosaic with 123, while the highest increase was at Vibra Energia at 16%.
