The top companies, in terms of number of new job postings tracked by GlobalData, as of Q3 2023 were Baker Hughes, BASF, John Wood Group, LyondellBasell Industries, and UGI. Together they accounted for a combined share of 30% of all social responsibility-related new jobs in the oil and gas industry.
Baker Hughes posted 2,333 social responsibility-related new jobs in Q3 2023, BASF 565 jobs, John Wood Group 539 jobs, LyondellBasell Industries 470 jobs, and UGI 388 jobs, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics.
Hiring activity was driven by the US with a 62.92% share of total new job postings, Q3 2023
The largest share of social responsibility-related new job postings in the oil and gas industry in Q3 2023 was in the US with 62.92% followed by the UK (5.69%) and Canada (3.93%). The share represented by the US was two percentage points higher than the 60.73% share it accounted for in Q2 2023.
