North America drives IT hiring at PPG Industries

North America emerged as the leading region in the global oil & gas IT hiring activity in August 2021 with an 82.5% share, which marked a 26.67% drop over the previous month.

Europe stood next with 12.5%, registering a 37.5% month-on-month decline. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 5% share and a 66.67% drop over July 2021.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s oil & gas industry IT hiring activity with a 45% share in August 2021, a 20% growth over July 2021. Mexico featured next with a 37.5% share, down 50% over the previous month. Poland recorded a 7.5% share, a decline of 25% compared with July 2021.

Junior Level jobs lead PPG Industries IT hiring activity in August 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 80%, down by 20% from July 2021. Entry Level positions with a 12.5% share, a decline of 37.5% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 7.5% share, down 72.73% over July 2021.
