Solis® UV-Stable Subsea Markers

By Aquasign
Traditionally, the standard colour specification for Aquasign® subsea markers was our fluorescent range AltusTM. The fluorescent pigments used in AltusTM will fade when exposed to direct sunlight, therefore must be sufficiently protected during storage and transportation. If the colourants significantly fade, although the anti-fouling performance will not be affected, the visibility subsea will be less effective. To ensure sufficient protection, the protective covers supplied must be secured with duct tape. The removal of these covers is a time consuming process and poses significant Health and Safety risks, particularly when working on larger assemblies.
